Whittaker Guns was established in 1988 with a focus on the firearms industry. Over the years, the shop expanded to become the largest firearms retailer in the state of Kentucky and one of the largest volume single shop locations in the country.
Today, as Whittaker Country, we are a fully stocked Outdoor & Sporting Goods Company. Our focus still remains on the firearms industry, but we’ve expanded into hunting clothing, fishing, outdoor cooking and casual apparel.
Cedarstix Archery, Outdoors & Taxidermy, located in the back of Whittaker Country, is the largest archery shop in Kentucky. We have a lot to offer under one roof. We are much more than just a gun store.

Gun Range
Rock Hill Range is part of the Whittaker Country family!! We offer both rifle and pistol ranges. Our bays are covered to keep you out of the elements. Rock Hill is located 4.6 miles from our retail location on Highway 815. We have a limited amount of hearing protection, eye protection, ammunition, and targets for sale at the pro-shop. A wider array of these accessories is available at Whittaker Country, so stop by and see us before you shoot!!
